And because my sketching is rooted in design, where I start is with what I’m drawing on.

Pamphlets, then…
But Wordstock itself is on the Bloomsbury Festival theme of Human.kind. So how might my pamphlets follow how humans interact, and how writers will interact on the day?
I’ve made some facing, some enfolded and one (I may yet regret this) a long concertina with a pamphlet in every other fold.
Then, as I chatted with podcast collaborator Narcis Sauleda, he said, “What about unfold?” So there are unfolding pamphlets too, for unfolding stories.
And so it grows…
