Working with NGOs and educators, I’ve cropped countless pictures of India – but speaking at Kochi Design Week has been my first visit.
It’s been a mind-expanding few days of discussion, collaboration and ideas across a wide range of creative disciplines. I’ve joined a panel discussing how to create a design ecosystem. I’ve talked about design for branding and communication – and invited insights back on local challenges and skillsets. I’ve had an interactive session with students at creative college ISCA, which had invited me to join the festival. And I’ve enjoyed seeing what creative entrepreneurs, makers and upcyclers are up to.
