Over the past three years, there’s been a whirlwind of adaptation to new contexts, new client needs, new ideas and brand new uses for my creative knowledge and skills. It’s been all about doing, and learning by doing. So it’s been interesting to have two rare chances to reflect.
Researcher, writer, photographer and filmmaker Eithne Nightingale interviewed me for Artists, other creative practitioners and COVID-19, part of Stay Home Stories, a project by a partnership of universities, museums and other cultural institutions in London and Liverpool. Communication was online so it was great to be at the publication's launch at the Museum of the Home to hear from the project team and other artists.
And designer and art director Leticia Credidio interviewed me for her fashion brand’s journal, about change, my experience as a woman in the creative industry, late-career creative adventures and what advice I’d pass along. Read the interview here.
