A brain, a biro and a sheet of paper…
Staying creative in lockdown is a challenge. And more so when you’re a young person just starting to explore creative careers. So Ideas Foundation has done a shout-out for resources from its network of creative professionals.
I’ve done a narrated slideshow on nosiness as a design skill and for students with limited internet access and resources, two ‘how to’ sheets on storytelling with a biro and how to make a concertina booklet from one sheet of paper.
That’s a chunk of donated time – but in the current spirit of trying stuff out, I’ve used this as an opportunity to give myself a crash course in Adobe Spark.
So passing on stuff I know has brought a new skill my way.
