Space to Earth Challenge
Client profile
What does Space to Earth Challenge do?
Devised by Venture Thinking, Ideas Foundation and Triathlon Trust for the UK Space Agency and ESA (European Space Agency), Space to Earth Challenge has been a triathlon-based, STEM (science, technology, engineering and maths) -linked programme of activities for school students. It followed British ESA astronaut Tim Peake as he trained before, during and after his Principia mission to the International Space Station. The programme continues as Space to Earth View Challenge.
What we’ve worked on together and how it’s helped:
Working with Lydia on the Space to Earth Challenge and IF branding has been phenomenal. Lydia’s approach to a design programme means that you start thinking of your programme and what you really want to achieve in new ways that go beyond design. She challenges you to think about audience, messaging, channels and how to get a high-quality design solution that is smart, attractive and sustainable. I was delighted when the Space to Earth Challenge designs were held up as best practice by a European benchmarking exercise. Working with Lydia is not for the faint-hearted. Her passion and pursuit of excellence pushes you to achieve more than you thought possible. It’s about a partnership to achieve results. The only problem is that once you have worked with Lydia it’s hard to work with other designers.
