Designing a legacy publication about a project is a balancing act – to enthuse and inform others to undertake similar work, it needs to communicate the energy of the project and the rigour of its evaluation.
This report about a partnership project in India by Kusuma Trust and Transform Schools uses illustrations from an earlier coffee table book and translates updated and additional content into a more formal, information-led layout available online and in short run digital print.
It makes an interesting read, both about the practical challenges that school students in Odisha and Sambalpur face and the considerations in delivering a programme of education improvement, community involvement and professional development.
Kusuma Trust is now supporting Transform Schools to become an independent charity.
