The lockdown project lives...
A prolific filer of sketchbooks, time was when I would draw my commute to and from my desk space. But at the start of the first lockdown, local parks full of ‘keep moving’ signs, I couldn’t even draw on my daily exercise walk. So I decided to report from my back garden instead, posting my pictures on Instagram.
It turned into a fascinating voyage of visual discovery, spotting colours I hadn’t noticed before and following plants from seedling to seedpod. This year, I’ve decided to take the project through a second growing season, as a blog.
…and it’s gone live in National Gardening Week.
