I have several strands of work. And sometimes they overlap, bringing things from one area of work to a project or activity in another. Here are just a few examples from 2025:
I’ve brought my experience in breaking down information to a plant labelling workshop at art, heritage and ecology site Cody Dock – then participants have added their own knowledge.
Also for Cody Dock, a big wildlife illustration project has used my sketch walking to bring life to the images and my design knowledge to provide advisory work for in-house design.
My interest in appropriate materials has brought relevance to live illustration at Give Your Best’s runway fashion show at the Trampery on the Gantry.
In my design work, I love engineering a story so in illustration workshops for the Alice Billing House time capsule, we started with how we might use folds and surfaces for communication.
That crossover of knowledge, skills and interests has made each piece of work, each experience, each activity that bit richer, that bit more relevant and that bit more human.
Thank you to all the clients who value my skillset – and who come to me with fascinating uses for what I can do.
If you’re planning a project and you’re wondering if I’d say yes, get in touch for a chat.
